A very low key but stupendously good taqueria. The tacos al pastor, suadero and de cabeza were all excellent but the al pastor were my favorite. There's no seating, just counters, but this only adds to the experience. They're located in Tlalpan so an easy Uber ride away if staying in Coyoacan (though Tlalpan makes a good base, too, especially near the Centro de Tlalpan)
I went there on a recommendation of a friend. When I got there, it was your typical mexican taqueria, the smell of marvelous meats permeated the area. I ordered 3 tacos, along with friends who or ordered their choices. Small moist tacos , excellent taste, along with a cold coke is one of the best tasting treats you can indulge in. Excellent tacos, I would definitely go back again.

It's a crazy place for tacos. It's always crowded and you must pay for each thing before eating them. Their sauces are great. It's a popular place for authentic Mexican street food. The place is not that confortable but people is familiar with it. Prices are normal. Some of the tacos are really unique; try suadero!!
Tacos are so awesome in this place! The service gets a 5 star as they have a great system of service and keeping everything clean and refilled. Atmosphere only gets a 4 star as it is standing only. (I do understand their thought - if you are standing, you eat and go. Otherwise, you hold up tables and people wait longer. Hence they may lose some business). Go and enjoy anything on the menu. My favorite tacos De suero!
What a great spot!!! It was a bit busy but we were served quickly. Suadero was our top favourite. Definitely worth a visit!!!

Visited here by young chef’s recommendation. Excellent. Very juicy and flavorful. Honestly, this restaurant deserves Michelin star more than El Califa de Leon. Must visit place. Very affordable.
